Summer 2022.
3500 miles in 12 days and 8 national parks later, several of my bucket list destinations are checked off. It’s impossible to share just 10 photos so I’ll have to share 2 posts.
One of the biggest differences this time is how much our boss enjoyed and appreciated the beauty along the way, and how much more adventurous she was from last year.
It wasn’t an easy trip. We worked along the way, and there were times we had to pivot and figure out water, as well as a couple times of finding a good BLM camp spot for the night. But it was priceless.
Here are some of my most memorable moments, including waking up one day with tons of curious cows mooing and checking out our bikes.

I felt a little guilty for sneaking off camping without Carly last week especially after she said she wants to go camping when we picked her up. So I took her on a camping trip just the two of us. She was so excited to have a campfire and roast marshmallows. Even though I knew it was going to rain I set it all up for her, campfire, chairs, string lights, Thermacel and string lights. Sure enough, right when the first marshmallow went into the fire, it started raining. It's ok, she still got to eat her marshmallows roasted or not.
