We Bought a Van!
After months and months of dreaming, planning and scheming, we finally pulled the trigger and bought a van!
We are beyond excited for all the memories we will make in our new little home on wheels.
What is WonderLost?
We created this site to share our journey on our camper van build and travels. Building a camper van can be as simple as adding a bed and basic kitchen essentials or complicated with solar power, shower and theater. Of course we opted for the latter. Check out the camper van plan post for more details (coming soon).
We’ve never built anything like this so we’ll be sharing and documenting everything we learn along the way, triumphs and failures.
Who are we?
Mike and I have always loved traveling and camping. After having Carly in 2017 our travels went from monthly to none in 2 years. Now that Carly is older and easier to take care of we feel confident enough to start traveling and camping again.
As much as Mike would love to sell everything and move into a van, I on the other hand need a stable place to raise Carly. So no, we are not vanlifers or people who live in their vans. The van will be used for weekend or weeklong trips.
Mike has a drone racing business so he gets to work from home. I work in an office environment but luckily they are pretty flexible with me “working from home”. Any money we make from this site will pretty much fund our travels…hint hint 🙂

Travel is the best life education you can get. We want to encourage people to get out and travel! Especially these days when people are so addicted to being connected online. It’s even more important to get out in nature for a mental reset.
